Scrimmage vs Northgate

For 15 of the swimmers that competed tonight it was their first high school meet with QV. That number represents nearly half of the number that competed. With this statistic in mind, I believe we had a very successful first meet of the season. Some of them faced a bit of diversity and some of them didn't swim as they hoped but they all got in and gave each race 100% and as a coach, I can not ask for much more than that.

We did have some great swims too! Even though the times from this meet do not count toward WPIALS a total of 8 individual events and relays qualified for our AA division and a good handful of those even qualified for the AAA division (not that we get to do anything with that but it's still a good standard to strive for).

As we said at the end of the meet. We learned a lot today, we found a few tricks up our sleeve but we also found out how hard we have to work to get where we want to go. I'm looking forward to seeing these baseline times drop as we continue to put the time and effort in this season.

Great Job today QV.
